ARE YOU BRAVE ENOUGH?

Every year when Halloween comes knocking around we all like to delve into the scarier aspects of like which would usually leave us shaking nervously in our oversized coats and knee high boots. Today I thought I would do a post that is a little different to my usual content but a perfect fit for this eerie time of time and that is sharing with you all some of the scariest ghost stories from where I live.

For those of who that don't know where I am from I live near the Great Yarmouth area which is about 30 minutes away from Norwich which I'm sure more of you will be aware of. If Norfolk excels at one thing it is at being absolutely bloody haunted and it is renowned for it; with every person living here being able to recall atleast one weird occurence that you can't just explain away. Choosing which stories to write about was a burden of a task when this area is so rich and full of activity but the ones I have chosen are most definitely my favourites. Let the chill fest begin...

WHAT MY RESCUE DOG HAS TAUGHT ME

The last week has been a salient week for me to say the least. On Tuesday we decided to make one of the biggest decisions that we have made to date, that being opening our home up to welcome another addition to our little "family".

Before making this decision and even now we get asked a lot of the same questions: "Do you realise how big of a decision this is?", "Why are you getting a rescue dog instead of buying your own?" & "Are you ready to bring a dog into your life?". The later of these questions is always an impossible one to answer, is anyone ever truly ready and prepared enough to bring a puppy home? I believe the answer to that to be no. Yes I understand the doubts of others as from an outsider it does seem like it would be merely impossible to raise a puppy as a couple of twenty-somethings who work full time, it hasn't been easy but that doesn't make it any less rewarding.
