MY PET PEEVES

SHIT I HATE

Look who is back for the second post in the last few days, don't be too impressed guys ;)

Hello, everyone! Today I have a post that I have been preparing and that I have wanted to write for months now after watching Tana Mongeau's video about her pet peeves and I agreed with SO many of them, and that is telling you some of my BIGGEST pet peeves. Now, I am a very very laid-back person but there are just some things that pick at my emotions and really grind my gears and here is a selection of them! Also, who better to illustrate this list other than eye roll queen Blair Waldorf herself. Let me know in the comments below if any of these are pet peeves that you share yourself or let me know some of your biggest pet peeves also! :)

PEOPLE CRITICISING AND COMMENTATING ON MY FOOD

This is something that Tana definitely mentioned in her video and I completely agree with EVERYTHING that she said. All of my life nothing has ever annoyed me more than people who feel some overwhelming urge to share their thoughts and opinions on the food THAT THEY DO NOT NEED TO EAT AND AREN'T EATING whilst you are eating it. This is hands down my least favourite pet peeve and I have always found it so incredibly rude. I didn't ask for your opinion, I chose this food for ME to eat not YOU to eat, I don't know why it drives me so insane but it really pisses me off.

Lisa: "OH MY GOD, what IS that? That looks SO disgusting! Ew, you like tuna? Tuna is soooooo gross, oh my god it really stinks it looks really disgusting"

FUCK OFF LISA

PEOPLE WHO CARRY MASSIVE BAGS THAT HAVE NOTHING IN IT

This may seem like a bit of a strange one to most of you but I really hope that someone shares this one with me because I'm still yet to find someone. For some unknown reason when I see that one of my friends or someone I know has the biggest bag, literally looking their plane carry on, then they unzip the bag and there's literally a pair of sunglasses and a purse inside of it? Really????????

PEOPLE WHO ALWAYS TALK AND ALWAYS TALK OVER YOU AND CHANGE THE CONVERSATION

Some of my closest friends are guilty of this and as much as I love them this stresses me out

BUS DRIVERS

Now, before anybody gets offended this isn't aimed at all bus drivers. Just the vast majority of bus drivers in my area, First YarLow I'm looking at you. I don't know whether this comes down to just sheer bad luck on my part which you know I could very easily believe but I just seem to have the WORST luck with buses and bus drivers. Every driver drives off when they MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH ME and can see that I am literally running for the bus, nearly every driver has been so so rude to me and just everyone in general; the worst instances were race and age-related and truly broke my heart. The worst to me was that the driver literally swerved as I was getting off so hard that my phone flew out of my hands, slid under the bus doors and landed on the street and he carried on driving!!!! No apology and I contacted First and it was all my fault apparently.

DIRTY PUBLIC TOILETS WITH TISSUE ALL OVER THE FLOORS

Add dirty mirrors and no hand soap to that list as well

ADVERTS BEING SO LOUD

Someone who knows the answer please explain this to me? Why are the TV adverts ALWAYS so much louder than the TV was prior to this?

THE STEREOTYPICAL UNDERSTOOD BY MOST PET PEEVE - BOYFRIEND OR ANY MALE LEAVING THE TOILET SEAT UP

This has resulted in me going to pee in the night and my arse falling into the toilet, I was very unimpressed.

MY CATS WAITING TO SHIT IN THEIR LITTER TRAYS UNTIL AFTER I HAVE FRESHLY CHANGED IT

COUGHING

People not covering their mouths, dirty sounding coughs, coughing in general

PARENTS IGNORING THEIR SCREAMING CHILDREN

I fully understand that sometimes, especially when children are young you can't go to every cry because they will learn that crying will gain your attention and affection and lead to negative reinforcement but my neighbour ignores her children's cries all night and it couldn't drive me more insane. They are your child, care for and nurture them.

RUDE CUSTOMERS

ENOUGH SAID.

PEOPLE WHO SCUFF OR SQUEAK THEIR SHOES

In the words of Tana, the noise literally makes my arsehole tighten and my toes cringe.

TEXTING AND DRIVING

So incredibly selfish and I will never understand anyone who defends this action. On a side note it also REALLY bothers me when people share photos of new speed cameras; you're contributing to increasing numbers of car accidents? Nice

THAT WAS "ON ACCIDENT"

This one truly drives me mad! I also have a friend who uses "I'd" completely wrong and it drives several of us insane - "I'd come round now?"

MISPRONUNCIATION OF MY NAME

It really isn't that difficult. Sian. (Sharn) Yet I often get called Shawn, Seon, Cyan the works. The most frustrating thing is when I tell people how to pronounce it as I understand some of the mess ups and their response is "Oh whatever" or still continue to pronounce it wrong.

So,

that was some of my biggest pet peeves and if you'd like to know more then let me know and I would be happy to do a part two as I have plenty plenty more!

Love,
